CPOW 2018 Annual Education Conference

CPOW will host their 2018 Annual Education Conference at the Sheraton Denver West in Lakewood, CO January 18-19, 2018.
Keynote Speakers include:
John R. Buchanan, Ph.D., P.E.
Dr. John R. Buchanan is an Associate Professor and is on the faculty of the Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science Department at the University of Tennessee. He will be talking about greywater reuse, aerobic Treatment and designing and installing drip dispersal systems.
Claude Goguen, P.E., LEED AP
Claude Goguen, P.E., LEED AP is the Director of Sustainability & Technical Education for The National Precast Concrete Association. Claude has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a licensed P.E. in Indiana and a licensed P.Eng in Canada. He will be speaking about grease interceptor and septic tank inspection as well as microbial corrosion.
Dr. Robert Siegrist, Ph.D., P.E., BCEE
Dr. Siegrist (a.k.a. Dr. Bob) is University Professor Emeritus of Environmental Science and Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines and also a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is former Director of the Small Flows Program and the Environmental Science and Engineering Division at CSM. Before joing CSM in 1995, Dr. Siegrist held academic and research positions with the University of Wisconsin, Norwegian Institute for Georesources and Pollution Research, Ayres Associates Inc., and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He earned his BS (High Honors) and MS in Civil Engineering and his PhD in Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin working within the Small Scale Waste Management Project. Dr. Siegrist is an internationally recognized expert in decentralized water reclamation and in situ remediation of contaminated land. His new textbook, Decentralized Water Reclamation Engineering, was just published by Springer (www.springer.com/us/book/9783319404714). He has served as a science and engineering advisor to government agencies in the United States and abroad and has been a Fellow with the NATO Committee for Challenges to Modern Society.
NAWT has granted 8 hours of CEU’s for attending both days of the conference for any NAWT Certificate. Attendees will still be required to pay the $75 NAWT fee to NAWT for their recertification.
