CPOW is dedicated to providing its expertise and leadership within all sectors of the onsite wastewater industry so that quality of our water resources are improved and ensured for future generations.
Subsequent to the 2013 changes in Colorado’s onsite wastewater regulations, in addition to the variability between locally implemented programs across the state, understanding specific requirements for the use of high-level treatment products, inspection of systems at the time of title transfer, use permits, licensing of installers, credentials and training of inspectors is becoming more and more critical. To address these variations CPOW has committed to updating its educational materials as well as to continuing to provide necessary information regarding regulatory changes to its members.
